EYE OF ASTRO is my intuitive healing and design practice. It is the space in which I share how people can connect to their own intuition, their own magic. Through this work, we are able to build trust with ourselves and find empowerment to navigate life with a sense of purpose and understanding. By creating decks, I offer a tool to individuals who are seeking this introspection, healing, alignment and activation. To find peace in the light and the dark. The name EYE OF ASTRO is inspired by my furbaby and familiar, Astro Baby Kitty-Dog Silverman. I have been working under this title since 2017 but my journey began long ago.
In my free time I like to hang in nature, make art, cook, and honor what feels good. Check out my decks, The Intuitive Night Goddess Tarot and The Portent Tarot as well as other magical tools.
“TRUST YOUR IMAGINATION”
Through our intuition we can connect to the cosmos, the universe, the world around us, our highest self.
I graduated from NYU TISCH in 2010 with a BFA in Photography and Imaging, and like to joke that I have always been a light worker. I was interested in mysticism and occult practices from a young age, dressing up as the Wicked Witch of the West for 8 different Halloweens. I began studying tarot and astrology in high school, becoming more serious about it after college.
In 2014 I met talented psychic-medium, Robyn Hessinger while working for a corporate media company. She encouraged me to explore my path as a healer and I began to look around. After an amazing astrology reader with John Sultana, he told me I was a healer as well and to consult with the profound energy worker, Michael Ventura. I had such a powerful experience with him where he told me I was a healer as well. I kept hearing this message but wasn’t sure what it meant. I went back to Robyn and she gave me some solid advice to start exploring this path within a 6 month period.
Without having a clue where to look, I kept my eyes open. Yoga has been a big part of my life since I started living in New York City in 2006, and it was in the bathroom at Yoga Vida in 2015 that I saw a flyer for REIKI I with Jonathan Hammond. I wasn’t sure if it was “the thing” but felt it would take me to where I wanted to go. I was open, curious, and listening to my intuition and I forever feel grateful for past Linzi. That weekend changed my life when after a very doubtful lunch, his assistant/true goddess Emily Wallace, approached me to let me know I was meant to be doing this work.
From that weekend on, I knew this was my path. I started practicing with friends and family. I did a mentorship with Robyn Hessinger to hone my gifts and channel them through the energy healing. I studied Shamanic Healing, and completed Shamanic Reiki Level II with Jonathan and Stacey Gibbons.
“MY GROWTH IS ETERNAL”
In 2016 I met Melissa Madara, the always inspiring owner of Catland Books, who without question encouraged me to start leading Guided Meditation Circles at the space. Having this support and opportunity allowed me to find my voice in a way I never felt possible.
My path continued to develop and my main job as a photo editor at corporate media companies began to support my learning and ability to work with people, and function less as a ladder to climb. In 2018, I knew it would be my last year inside the walls of a space in this way, and committed to my path as a healer. Knowing this big transition was coming, I embarked on a intentional year of learning. I studied Intuitive Thai Therapy Level I with the ethereal Sarah Seely, completed my Shamanic Reiki Master Certification at Omega with Llyn Roberts, became a RYT 200 hour through Sacred Brooklyn, and capped it off with Intuitive Thai Therapy Level II to deepen those skills. Somewhere along all of this, I finished my tarot deck, The Intuitive Night Goddess Tarot, that finally found its legs in 2019. In 2022 I launch a second edition of the ING as well as my second deck, The Portent Tarot.
Deepen your connection to self, heighten your intuition, and find healing and magic in the universe around you. I have seen the evidence of this work for myself and those whose paths I have crossed. I didn’t always know (and still don’t sometimes) where I’m going, but as I do this work more and more, I see the things from my past have always been bringing me to this work. I look forward to seeing what the future has to offer and hope that I can share it with you!
